Dr. J.C. Passey, a luminary in the medical field, boasts a remarkable career that epitomizes excellence. His educational journey commenced with an MBBS degree in 1980, followed by an MS in ENT from MDU Rohtak in 1984. Dr. Passey's pursuit of knowledge and global exposure led him to training programs in Italy for Cochlear Implantation (2001) and South Korea for Hospital Management (2004). His quest for expertise also saw him being awarded a WHO fellowship on head and neck trauma in Sydney in 2004. Not content with personal achievements, he embarked on a mission to share his knowledge, conducting teacher training programs in medical education in New Delhi in 2006, 2012, and 2015. His influence extends to training over 1,000 young ENT surgeons and performing more than 200 cochlear implantations.
Dr. Passey's extensive experience unfolds in a trajectory that includes teaching at MDU Rohtak for three years, dedicated research at MCH Rohtak for three years, a two-year stint as a lecturer at MCH Rohtak, and a remarkable ten-year tenure as an Associate Professor at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. His academic journey reached new heights with a five-year term as a Professor, and he continued to ascend to the position of Director Professor for a remarkable 13 years. Dr. Passey's legacy is further marked by his nine-year role as the Head of the Department of ENT at MAMC and Lok Nayak Hospital.
